I met Melody while she was in labor, her husband Reinhardt and daughter Taylor were there as well. Everyone was excited to meet Riley!

After a while of not too much progress Melody asked me to leave and get some rest and she’d call when she was closer. I headed back later that night around 9:45pm.
Melody worked hard, she pushed for several hours. She was totally exhausted and little Riley just wouldn’t come out! Melody ended up having a c-section and I came back two days later since the hospital would not permit me in the OR. Both mommy and baby did amazing the whole time. I can’t even tell you how lucky this little girl is to have a mommy that works so hard for her. This little family is so wonderful and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to document their story and meet sweet little Riley Love.
